"Squirrel On A Tree" Problem...

... or Why I Love My Logic Class:

You come upon a tree in a park. You see a squirrel climb up the tree and hide on the opposite side of the trunk from where you stand. As you walk past the tree, the squirrel keeps himself completely opposite of you so that you can't see him. This entices you to run around the tree to try to catch the squirrel. You've rounded the tree completely, and never once did the squirrel let himself be seen by you.
There is no question as to whether or not you've gone around the tree.
But:

Have you gone around the squirrel?
